Asus Ve278h Driver
Hi, Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated. We understand how you feel about the situation.
ASUS have not released a driver for that model. The driver simply tells Windows what model it is and what refresh rates and resolutions it supports, so you don't inadvertantly select an unsupported display mode for it (which could cause loss of video signal). We provide all asus drivers free, you can download the newest asus drivers from our site for free. We also provide free driver software for you to download & fix driver problem automatically, Compatiable with Windows10, 8, 7, XP and Vista.
We're sorry for the trouble. Method 1: I suggest you to update drivers and check if that helps. If that issue persist please uninstall and reinstall latest drivers available in manufacturer website. • Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger. • Select Display Adapter and expand the driver icon. • Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.
• Follow the onscreen instructions to update the driver. If that issue persist try to install in Compatibility mode Method 2:: Compatibility mode I would suggest you to install the latest available drivers on manufacturer's website in compatibility mode. Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode: 1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk. 2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.
3. Select “Compatibility” Tab. 4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.
5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality. Hope this helps. If the issue remains unresolved, please get back to us and we would be happy to help.
Hello, I'm also having the problem, but.. In my case: • In Windows 7: The monitor shows up just fine as an ASUS PA248Q. Yet, when I dual boot to Windows 10, it shows the same monitor as a 'Generic PnP Monitor.' • My graphics card is at the current version and in fact I upgraded my graphic drivers 3 times since going to Windows 10. NOTE: I'm using the same graphics driver on both Windows 7 and 10.
I did a CLEAN Windows 10 Professional installation as well as clean graphics driver installation. • The system has 2 other monitors and they show up just fine. (They are a Dell U3014 and Dell ST2420L.) I went to the ASUS website looking for drivers and they said the Microsoft Windows update facility should recognize the monitor and download the correct driver. NOTE: This is what occurs on Windows 7 perfectly, BUT on Windows 10 it isn't recognizing the monitor as an ASUS PA248Q, downloading the correct driver, and installing it. Instead it says it is a generic PnP monitor, which is NOT true. Please advise.
Port forward network utilities full. PFConfig utility will work with the ports, you can easily open and close them, when necessary. Is it reliable, honestly did not check.
