Is there any way to get a PS3 controller working with the default Windows drivers? I plugged it in and the pad is detected and all the buttons show up in the controller properties but there's no response from any buttons. If I hit the PS button before attaching it it still makes no difference. In OS X it works fine without any extra drivers (I don't need sixaxis or ds3) so what's stopping the buttons working in Windows? I don't want to mess with disabling driver signing anymore (did it for XBCD but cba doing it again for this pad).

Hi Tindytim, i've the same Problem like Srgt.Butthole has I try to run Btsix 1.4 and it says 'No Bluetooth hardware deteceted, or already in use!' Here a shots my Bluetooth stick I hope u can help me sorry for my bad english Edit: I have seen it is a driver problem but if i install my bluesoleil Driver there is only the Bluetooth Device but I can't install the FreeBT Driver with the driver refresh button and if I uninstall the Bluettoth Device it leaves then I click on the new Hardware button then install automatic these two Devices on my first Picture. First of all: thanks a million Tindytim! I've been looking for a step-by-step topic for this for a while! But I am having the same problem as Nappy-Rash and can't seem to get the setup to work. BtSix says the controller is connected, the LED on the controller light up, but nothing happens. I am running Windows XP 32-bit with service pack 3 if it helps.

Also, I tried using the newest BtSix 1.5a which gives me the same problem (although, when the controller connects, only LED 1 is lit with this version). Any help is greatly appreciated and I am willing to provide any further information and testing if necessary. Ok so I followed everything, and in BtSix 1.4 it's actually showing the movements and everything!

The only thing I'm having trouble with is PPJoy. Now when installing it, you said to go to the Driver Folder inside the BtSix 1.4? I try doing that and it says: 'The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for 32-bit systems.' So I just started up BtSix, and it detected it, but I don't think I got PPJoy working properly? Like if it was configured, how would I go about configuring controls for emulators like ZSNES? Or are there drivers that are made for Vista?

I was getting lost in the ps2dev forums. Hi dudes, I've readed the entire post here and at the ps2dev.org (and my first problem was my bluetooth dongle that wasn't compatible with btfree. I've bought another and everything appears to be fine. Afterwards i've attempted to make the motion sense and right analog stick works too but I've had a weird problem. That's the deal: When I try to make 6 axis with PPJoy, the last one (Z Rotation) gets bugged. If I put Z Rotation as analog 0 or 6 that's the same, this axis doesn't works.

Link: Now here is the problem, Z Rotation is always at maximum, only if I move joystick to the mininum it goes directly to minimum too, otherwise goes to maximum, no sensitivity. Link: Now i've swapped the mapping to be sure. Link: As you see the problem now goes to Analog 0(Left analog stick), keeping the problem in sixty axis (Z Rotation). Anyone has any idea?

First I tought the my new BT Dongle was not fully compatible too, but on btsix 1.4a shows correctly all movements. Thanks in advance! After many frustrations to get the controller to work on a x64 system which all failled because the original driver was only made as a 32bit application, and even tough the controller once connected to a usb port with or without drivers appears on the game controllers in control panel it cannot be used, the buttons won't work, but sixaxis CAN also be used in x64 OS, below are the links to a *.rar with the files needed to do that and a readme with instructions. Hope this will help others like myself that were frustrated by this. (limited to 10 downloads hence i do not have a premium account).
