There are two sections, all the latest software releases and then a plethora of technical documents and whitepapers to warm you up during the cool winter nights.

One of the cool things about EQL is that once you buy it, everything is licensed so you get access to all the software and new features as they are released.

Dell EqualLogic PS Series Storage Diagnostics Report Collect the Diagnostics Report for the specific array or for the group from the Group Manager GUI or from the array management command line interface. Diagnostics via Group Manager GUI Examples shown from Group Manager 7.0. Login to the Group Manager for the array Expand the Tools menu and select Diagnostic Reports Click Next at the Welcome screen: Enter the Zensar Case ID if known: Select the specific array to collect data from (or all if directed to). If configured, send the reports via Email.
Otherwise, leave these options unchecked to store the files locally on the array. Confirm the settings and click Finish.
Open the Operations tab in the status panel at the bottom of the Group Manager page to view the progress of the data collection: The operation will take a few minutes to complete. Once complete the task shown will be cleared. If the diagnostics were emailed, then forward that email to for review. Otherwise, retrieve the files using FTP as instructed below.
Diagnostics via Command Line Interface Access the management port of the array using either Telnet/SSH or directly via the Serial Port. Login as “ grpadmin” In a moment, a prompt will appear. The collection will take the default values and will be run on each array in the group. If a support contact is setup, the results will also be emailed to that person. Progress of the data collection will be shown: Once complete, the files will be sent via Email if it is configured. Otherwise, use the FTP process to retrieve the files. The following prompt will also be displayed: Answer N to this.
